The Rejection

You have worked, slaved, poured your heart and soul into this story and then waited what seems like an eternity to hear from the publisher.

FINALLY one day you open your email and there it is...you see the subject line with your MS title. Your heart starts to race. You glance around, half afraid to open and the other half demanding you do it now! You click. The email opens....After carefull consideration we have come to the conclussion that your story is not.... AUGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

NO!!!! Rejected! Well, shit. After the initial shock that someone out there had "the gall" to reject your work of art you drum up the courage to read the rest of the email. Bastards.

Now what? If they gave you feedback, read it. Then wait a few days and read it again. Do you agree? Ask your CP what they think about the comments.

Whether you re-work or just sub it somehwere else, don't give up. Screw them. It's their loss. Keep plugging away
